St. Joseph's School has both a Term 1 and Term 3 Preschool intake each year. Our Term 3 new Preschool children will join our existing Preschool class. Children will spend 12 months in our Preschool (January-December or July-June) before moving into Primary School. Places are limited, therefore if you would like your child to join our Preschool please make a time to have a Preschool tour or enrolment interview with myself.
The criteria for starting Preschool on the first day of school in Term 1 is that a child will have turned 4 years of age on or before April 30 in that year.
The criteria for starting Preschool on the first day of school in Term 3 is that a child will have turned 4 years of age between May 1 and October 31 in that year.
Children who turn 4 years of age between November 1 and December 31 are not eligible to commence Preschool before the following year.
Preschool sessions are:
Monday: 8.45 am to 2.45 pm
Tuesday: 8.45 am to 2.30 pm
Wednesday: 8.45 am to 12.00 pm
